Bergen aan Zee
Stp.Gr. Schoorl, Wn. 23 "De Franschman".

Near the roundabout at the Eeuwigelaan with the Zeeweg, there are several objects to find in the vegetation and the dunes.

Walking along the Eeuwigelaan and then passing the roundabout you can find an antitank wall together with some small Fa-bunkers.
Crossing the square into the direction of Bergen aan Zee there are on the left side of the road  even more Fa-bunkers, mostly covered with sand and vegetation.
Beside the house near the roundabout  you find a Fa-wash house.

Types:
1x Antitank wall +/- 300 meters.
1x Fa-wash house.
6x Fa-bunkers.

Bergen aan Zee
Stp.Gr. Schoorl, observation tower Russenduin.

From the roundabout at Wn. 23 you go into the direction of the sea and the small village Bergen aan Zee. Before you will enter the village there is an other roundabout where you go right and after 100 meters go right again into the Fazantenlaan, where up to one of the bigger dunes  "Huize Russenduin" is situated.

During the war the Germans had at this high point only an observation post. Therefore they extended the tower of the house at first with  a 8 meters wooden part and after a fire they rebuild it in stone.
